As the business environment in technology
field has been moving fast, there are challenges faced among competitors within
this industry to compete. In this news article, it mentions more than one
million 3-D TVs were sold in 2010, but the unit of LED, HD and Blu-ray each
sold less than a million in their first year. This category of people is
claimed to be innovator or early adaptors. 3-D TV is in the early market, it
excite consumer as technology enthusiasts and visionaries adopt technology. The
technology has become very advance. Innovation and improvement has been made
from higher resolutions to thinner displays to satisfy customer needs. Soon,
there will be more people having 3-D TV as the market preference has been
changing just like people who purchase mobile phone with not only SMS and calling
function but also others such as taking picture and access to Internet. Technology
provides new markets and opportunities such as E-learning and internet commerce
which provides 24/7 service. At the same time, technology poses threats such as
virus to existing technologies and industries too.
